  • Affected person loses ability to communicate. Any spoken language is processed as gibberish by the victim. When they speak, it also comes out as broken and nonsensical. They are unable to comprehend or use written language. Even gestures and sign language are beyond their grasp while the spell is in effect. Victim spellcaster is still able to weild magick. Through Telepathy, a psychic can still communicate if they succeed an Intelligence check Vs. the caster's SuMa. (For each and every attempt at communicating) The character's words are clear, but the meaning becomes nonsensical:
    "What happened? What did she do to you?"
    "My cup is accidental in the target of Bampu's abrasion!"

    Berserk

  • Target is put into an infuriated, rabid state, capable only of physical attacks. Any psionics, magick, chi, or other special abilities requiring concentration are impossible for the duration. They will immediately lash out at anyone or anything they consider an enemy. If no enemies are present, they must make a Cool check = caster's SuMa per round, or attack the nearest target. Stats are adjusted for the duration as follows: -2 All Mental Attributes, +2 All physical attributes & +2 (+1 die) to all non-ranged combat rolls, -2 (-1 die) to any other action.

  • When taking this spell, you must choose which physical attribute it affects. You may take this spell multiple times, choosing a separate attribute each time. (Bolster Strength, Bolster Presence, etc.) Target gains a d4 points to attribute for the duration. On a critical success, target gains double the roll. This spell can also be taken as just "Bolster" which gives a bonus to a random physical attribute, and can also negate all effects of any "Weaken" spell, if the caster beats the SuMa of the one who cast "Weaken".

  • If this spell is successfully cast vs. the potency rating of a normal or magickal poison, it lessens the effects of the poison affecting a creature. A normal success lessens the penalties affecting the poisoned individual by d4, but the poison still remains. A critical success in casting completely removes the poison from a creature or object, and removes d4 (plus amount over crit success) from the penalties, and allows them to recover normally. If successfully cast vs. the potency rating of a normal or magickal poison permeating an object, drink, or food item, the poison is completely removed.

  • Changes how something is perceived visually. Effect cannot alter size of the target, only superficial shape, color, etc. Example; A human male can only be made to look like the member of another race his own size. Others observing the disguised subject will automatically believe the illusion, unless they are given reason to doubt it. Then they must make a normal vision check equal to to caster's SuMa to notice the illusion.

  • Affected victim is immediately dazed from the affects of the poison. This can also be cast upon a melee weapon, or a single archaic projectile to deliver the poison to the victim. The poison remains on the implement of delivery until one attack is made, successful or not. This spell can also be used to poison a food or drink item. The poison is odorless and tasteless, and remains in the item until dispelled. Critically failing to save against the poison indicates that the victim is slowly dying from the poison. Every hour, they must make a new save; Body vs. spellcaster’s SuMa, at the accumulated penalty bestowed by the poison, or suffer a -1 from all physical attributes. As soon as a single attribute reaches -6 from racial base, (Including the -2 dazing penalty) they die. A successful save means no -1 until next hour, whereupon the affected victim makes another save attempt. A crit success save means the poison is no longer affecting you, and your attributes will slowly recover as you rest and heal.

  • When taking this spell, you must choose which physical attribute it affects. You may take this spell multiple times, choosing a separate attribute each time. (Weaken Strength, Weaken Presence, etc.) Victim suffers a loss of d4 points from the attribute for the duration. On a critical failure, victim loses double the roll. A sucessful save halves the amount of the d4 (round down), while a critical success negates the loss completely. If a single physical attribute ever reaches -6 or lower from racial base amount, character is incapacitated until the attribute is restored to -5 or higher.
